Our Pantry Shelf does not collect personal information on our servers. App data, including inventory, shopping lists, recipes, settings, store card details, and related content, is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

 

If you choose to add photos to items or store cards, those images are stored locally on your device as part of the app’s data unless you export or share them yourself.

If you choose to share content using your device’s built-in sharing features, that sharing is initiated by you.

Device Permissions

The app may request access to:

• Camera, for barcode scanning

• Photos, for selecting item or store card images

• Notifications, for inventory reminders
   

These permissions are used only to support app features and can be denied or changed later in your device settings.

 

Third-Party Services

​

If you use barcode lookup features, barcode numbers may be sent to third-party product data services such as Open Food Facts in order to retrieve product details and help prefill item information.

 

The app may also open external links, such as product or shopping links, in third-party websites or apps. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Import, Export, and Sharing

​

Our Pantry Shelf allows you to import and export data files, such as CSV files, using your device’s file picker, storage, and sharing tools. These actions occur only when you choose to use them.

Our Pantry Shelf does not use third-party tracking for advertising purposes.

 

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit personal information collected by the app to our servers.
